The Forney High Definition (HD) flame detector integrates infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) optical sensors as well as amplifiers and high-speed signal processors. High speed signal processor can analyze frequency resolution, so that multiple burners and background radiation can be accurately distinguished. The HD detector includes two flame relays, each of which is used to receive signals from each optical sensor.
